Hi Tom, I am getting something similar as well on my 2.0 tsi. How old and what mileage does yours have? I have a post going at the moment describing my problems.

Thanks for the reply. Had a quick look on the forum and as you say it does sound similar, people who had the problem appear to have had their engine management light come on and the stuck inlet flap fault being diagnosed, whereas I'm not getting that.
