Has anyone with a 170 had it done yet? How's it run after the update? Mines a 60reg 170 DSG and received the letter today

I have a Sept 2010 registered Scirocco GT-TDi 170 DSG, which engines are the EA189? Is mine? How can you tell?

I've got a GT-TDi 170 DSG.. 60reg... and all my insurance quotes come up as manual when using the registration. Like others I've just altered the quote, but some insurers seem to take it as a modification rather than incorrect. Emissions are correct on my V5C, but there's nothing about transmission ...

Does anyone know if the Fixed Price Service deals include the DSG oil change (every 40k) - read conflicting info. My dealer says not included but all the particulars say "covered for all of Volkswagen-recommend servicing"

iPhone's don't support rSAP. You will need the latest VW bluetooth module 9W7, have it in mine and works fine - syncs call list and phone book but no SMS support
