Re: Need advice on sealant and best product for Black?

I'll second the recommendation of Blackfire. I use Blackfire Midnight Sun wax over Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant on my Shadow Blue Scirocco and it gives a real head-turning finish. I'm sure it'll work just as well for a black car.

Re: Mine arrived! (Shadow blue TDI)

looks really nice in that blue m8 a lot more understated which is more my scene, im not a lover of bright outlandish colours did you go for many extras?? Only options are leather and mats. Some pics now that some good weather has coincided with me having my camera in the car. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_...

Mine's a 140. Didn't seem sensible to pay for extra power I wouldn't ever use.

Same for me. 2010 model TDI 140; no xenons. No longer doing Volvo impressions

I can't comment on shadow blue compared to sumatra - the sumatra looks good in the photos I've seen, but I've yet to see one on the road.

Re: The rain could not spoil my day today....

Looks like we were both on a similar schedule. Mine arrived yesterday too.

The rising blue's looking very nice. Hope you made the most of the dry day today to have some fun :) (and maybe get some more pics)

Mine arrived! (Shadow blue TDI)

After 3 months of waiting and a painful 2 months of having to use public transport, my Scirocco finally arrived yesterday ... along with a day full of rain! However, the rain didn't dampen things one bit. After a quick check to see everything was OK and to familiarise myself with where all the contr...

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)

Was originally told mine was build week 23; rang up today to get an update on progress and have been told that it's now been put back to week 26.

Not the greatest news, but I suppose it pretty much guarantees I'll be getting a 2010 spec car.

Saw a pewter one in the metal for the first time on Friday. Really suits the car.

Re: Is it sad...

I've still got 4 or 5 weeks to wait for mine, so with no car related outgoings I thought it was a good time to stock up on some wash/wax products. I've got the Blackfire kit waiting for when my Scirocco arrives. Needless to say I'm looking forward to seeing how it makes the car look. I guess that pu...
