Re: Convenience Menu - Mirror Down
I've spoken at length to VW - initially they claimed that from the chassis no my car did not have the MD option. When I explored this further they claimed no Scirocco had the option so I pointed them to this forum and the handbook. Oh dear -clearly some Sciroccos do have it - oooo ahhhh. I then had ...

Re: Convenience Menu - Mirror Down
Incidentally, in the handbook I received with the car the convenience menu includes the Mirror Down option - very odd that it does not appear in the convenience menu actually on the car. There's a little asterisk under that table of options that says some depend on spec chosen, or words to that eff...

I've now emailed VW with details of the problem and referred them to this topic on the forum - will keep you posted if I get a reply.

Re: SDCard for RCD510
Advice please. I have the sat nav RNS 510 head unit. I have a Creative Zen V Plus mp3 player but no matter how I connect to the car it is not recognised. I've even bought the mini usb connector from VW and used jack plugs to no avail. I though about buying an ipod but reading posts on here I see tha...

Re: What Colour?
My last few cars were silver and I was fed up with silver and even metallic paints to be honest. I have had a lot of white sports coupe type cars - I love white and I think white makes a car look wider and lower. I think the Scirocco looks fantastic in white and I wanted a white Scirocco, I ordered ...

Re: What Colour?
It would be interesting to know which colour people have or would have chosen for a factory order as opposed to opting for a colour because a car in that colour was available rather than being forced to wait 3 months for their first choice.

Re: Connecting an iPod/iPhone via MDI

Andy
I have activated the Aux-in in the set-up menu but to no effect - I notice the AV-in is greyed out - is that correct
It may be relevant that my mp3 player has a mini usb socket though as i said b4 when I connect I get power to the mp3
thanks
