Re: winter tyres
Just fitted a set of budget winter tyres, removed the OE set of 19 inch Dunlops at 20700 miles and 3 years old. Been experiencing a lot of road noise recently, especially on the rougher tarmac surfaces, this seems to have cured this. The rear Dunlops still have 4 mm of tread, but fronts have gone. ...

Re: Dipped beam on one headlight not working
Something weird is going on with mine, just mine out and played about with the bulb holders. Figured both of them work so the bulb is a duff and now the fogs are playing up drivers side too?

Re: DPF Removal - Pro's and Con's
So.. the general consensus is its a bad idea.
I posted owners site too and only had negative replies. Im not going to bother.
Think i sold the idea to myself last night but on a second think about it![shrug ](./images/smilies/shrug.gif)

DPF Removal - Pro's and Con's
Morning lads/ladies Needing all youre expert knowledge and opinions on this as i literally have no knowledge other than research myself. Re: GT 210 spec...query
God luck but for £50 I think I'd just get a set off eBay and save myself the aggravation. It will sour the experience of getting a brand new car. Its not £50 though its £200 as its OEM? They (Dealers) all seem to vary where i live with regards to how helpful they are, Problem with Franchise i guess?

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Replaced a tyre yesterday after getting a puncture on the A1. TPM system worked perfectly warning me but the small key that I discovered sticking out of the right rear tyre was close to the edge of the tread and not repairable. New Pirelli P7 was £162.00 fitted. Where did you get them at that price...

Re: DSG Oil change
I believe the wet clutch gear boxes are the same throughout VAG as its not made via them. Although the Seats do use the dry clutch gear boxes a little more and the oil doesnt need changing in them. Im taking mine to the dealer as its £179 for the dealer and nearest VAG Specialist was £159 so for the...

DSG Oil change
As the title says im coming up to 40k now so conscious that i need to get the DSG oil changed. Just wondered whether people reckon its worth paying for a dealer to do it or have a phone round? Im in the Northamptonshire area and as of yet havent come across any VAG Specialists? Whats the damage like...

Can imagine them wanting some TTRS style money for them though if that ever happened!coullstar wrote:If they add the TTRS engine that it may be the first time I consider buying a brand new car.
