ive done 13000 on mine now and its perfect, only problem ive had was with the A/C, was in with VW for a day just due to a cracked pipe.

At the end of the day you hear the very small amount of issues with them but never really hear from the majority of owners who havent had problems

I've just done a 165 mile motorway trip in mine and got 51 mpg out of it, sat at 75 on cruise control with a couple if roadwork sections, mine is a 1.4 160

I think the 1.4 would be fine for me really, it's just for how long... The 1.4 will do pretty much all you would want or need to do under most circumstances, but it didn't take me long to want more from those kick-down moments. But equally, I bet it wouldn't take long to outgrow the 2.0 either, and...

Hi i have the 1.4 tsi 160 and i love it, its great fun, if your doing motorway driving in you can easily get high 30's mpg if not pushing 40. mine drops to mid/late 20's when i only do short driving, less than 10 miles a journey (which is most of my driving at the moment). i was in the same position...

doesnt the acc stiffen up the steering in sport, does it do it by reducing the electrical assistance or using the electrics to firm it up, if it reduces the electrical assistance this may have a small factor in fuel consumption perhaps???

i can see what you mean, its like with bikes, i have a road bike and a mountain bike that has rear suspension and its quite soft, its easier to ride the road bike because on the mountain bike the suspension takes some of the force out of the pedalling and makes it harder. but i think it would be dif...

my roc is now in transit as of last friday, hoping for collection by end of first week in june. do you guys have any tips on running it in, this is my first brand new car so have never had to run a car in.

dealer told me my build week is w/c 6th may, does that mean they start to build it then, and how long after this build date should i expect to take delivery???

Just looking at the tyre sizes on the 17" long beach alloys, when you buy the 1.4 ti 122 the sizes are 205/50, but on the 160 hp model the same alloys are 225/45. why is that?? just out of interest

Bit of a silly question i know, but i never noticed when looking at the car before i ordered one, does the armrest slide out from the standard position, as i noticed it did on a couple of other vw's
