Yea thats what I was thinking but then they say they fit Mk6 Golf on that website which are CR engines, am I mistken to think some of the later Mk5's are also CR engines.

Thank you for you replies had the car on VagCom and came back with supply voltage B+ - lower limit exceeded.
Going to have to take it to garage to find out what problem is.

I had this warning notification come up on my MFD.

Anyone know what could cause this and how it could be rectified?
