Thanks for the advice, yeah have heard snow foam is pretty magical stuff.
Had a quick read of the manual today and it only mentions pressure washing the parking sensors.
Says to only spend a few secs on them and not to blast them with too much water.

Pressure Washer?
Hi Guys Heard some mixed comments recently from friends saying pressure washers are not a great way to wash a new car. Is there any truth in this? Just got myself a candy white Roc and as I'm sure all you other candy owners know, it kinda needs a spray down once a week. A pressure wash would take 2 ...

Re: It's on it's way!!!
Nice and congrats on surviving the wait!
Mines currently dockside, looks like you picked yours up 4 days after it landing, so I'm hoping to pick mine up next week!

Well you we're spot on RW1 EMDEN left Sheerness @ 13:06 yesterday. So I'm sure my Roc is sitting there on the dockside awaiting transport.
Fingers crossed for next week!
Thanks again

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
Car is due to land in the UK on Friday, no idea on build date but guessing the last couple of weeks. +1 for the wait in a killer. I feel like an 8 year old waiting for his xBox. Scirocco is on board the EMDEN passing Brest, France 29.01.12 @ 04:00, due in the Port of Emden 29.01.13 @ 21:00. Sets sa...

Re: How is a diesel car more expensive to run?
This is all an interesting read! I dont think there will ever be a clear winner between Diesel and Petrol. However, with petrol engine downsizing in favour of turbocharged units the gap is narrowing. Compare the 1.4 twin-charged Roc to the 2.0TDI GT and there is not a massive difference in it. Yes y...
Re: ACC
Anyone know why VW removed ACC from the lower end 2012 model's? I know my 1.4 160 Rocco (being built next week
) doesn't have it.
Has been standard the last few years!

Re: Electrically foldable door mirrors
Yeah did a bit of research and it looks as if once you have the module (no idea where from/part number). You remove the door insert and pop it in between to connections (so the two existing cables connect through the module) I assume you would need to do this on both doors. I have also read it's not...

Re: Electrically foldable door mirrors
Thanks dstill
As I thought unfortunately. I suppose you can't complain for a £145 option. They are considerably more pricey on Audi's and BMW's.
May be a stupid question but I assume you can fold them in manually (push them) if you only need to quickly fold one in?
Thanks again.

Re: Electrically foldable door mirrors
Thanks both This is what I'm reading, a lot of owners are saying "no" Scirocco dosnt have this feature. However most are running 2008/2010 models. I suppose I can only wait and see but not get my hopes up! The only problem I can see with having to operate them from the door is... You paral...

Electrically foldable door mirrors
Hi everyone New here, ordered a 1.4 (160) Scirocco in Candy White back in November and am awaiting build. Current delivery date of 18th Feb, sure it will be worth the wait. I ordered a few options including "electrically foldable door mirrors" and had a question for anyone with them. I und...
