Just looking for opinions if you think an insurance company would write off the car. Would be gutted if they did. I think it’s repairable but wouldn’t have any idea what it would cost.

Just checked all my fuses but can't find anything blown. Coming home/leaving home lights don't work along with door warning light (the lights at the bottom of the door panels). I do think the light sensor is faulty because the sat nav is set to auto for day and night and flips between day and night regardless of what the time of day is. the car is still under warranty so will take a trip to vw.

Still no joy with getting the auto lights to work.
Found if I try and make any amendments to RLS settings I get error 31.

There are so many different settings for DRL so I will check and see if that setting is selected and test.
A friend did suggest that the setting for assisted driving might be the culprit so will check that also and let you know.

Problems solved. Unbelievable that all the noise was from a tyre. Swapped the front to rear and noise has gone. Don't even get any noise from rear. Any one know the ideal spark plug gap for a 2.0tsi with bluefin.
Am running with iridium ngk with 0.75 gap at present but does not feel right and a friend said it may be the wrong gap but couldn't tell me what it should be.

just out of interest as you mention the possibility of a miss fire being one of my problems would you know what the ideal spark plug gap should be for a 2.0 tsi with bluefin remap. At present I am using iridium ngk plugs with default gap of 0.75. Thanks. Mike
