I ran in my Edition 30 very gently .... the result - 229 bhp on Superchips rolling road as standard when other 'thrashed' Edition 30's on the same rollers were producing 255 bhp ! FWIW I have had three ex demonstrators over the last 15 years that have flown - a V6 4motion Golf, an S2000 and a BMW 33...

At about 2,500 miles I took my DSG Edition 30 for a 'spirited' drive over about 2 miles on a very twisty road and upset the DSG completely !! I ended up with it on the back of an RAC truck and getting it taken to the garage after it went into limp home mode then went into 1st gear - and wouldn't cha...

Would a dealer be able to tell that you had re-loaded the original map prior to taking it for service?? A warranty issue and all that?? Geoff No, when you return it to standard you are reloading your own original standard file ... and it resets the flash counter to whatever it was prior to loading ...

you can swap the maps around as often as you want, like a few other companies the bluefin also has an imobilser function which you can use to disable the car so it won't start even with the key I've changed my BF map on my Edition 30 quite a few times ... between the two performance maps they have ...

I would be very suprised that after having an accident your insurance company would send someone around to check the map you had in your ecu!! If you had a very bad accident the ECU from your car would be sent away for expert analysis by the Police ... it is fairly standard if you have a biggy ! Ma...
