Re: ACC: Is 'Sport' more economical?

I can see some merit in that, however in sport mode, would it not be harder on the tyres as the suspension is stiffened up?

I average around 350. Lot of A road driving and motorway. 380 has been my best so far.

Re: Tyre wear

Ok. Thanks for that, will give it a try. Going to go with Michelin pilot sports next I think. Had a 3 series before and was getting 25k out of the rears on that

Tyre wear

What sort of mileage do people typically get from front tyres?

Had 2 x sport contact 5s fitted 9500 miles ago and they are at the wear bars already and needing replaced?

Is this normal.

Car is a 2.0 tsi gt

Thanks

Re: Going to buy new tyres... Suggestions?

We have the vreds on the wife's Clio 197. I have thrown it around big time with them on it and been quite impressed. Hard to say whether they'd suit the scirocco though

3C8035730B/5N0035730D Bluetooth

It is a consideration, but they're £320 and I'm kind of thinking that if I'm going to spend big bucks then I might as well go for the alpine unit that does Bluetooth, satnav, iPod integration etc etc

Re: 3C8035730B/5N0035730D Bluetooth

I've kind of given up on this tbh, too confusing, and no definitive answers! I wasn't too bothered about whether it would work with the MFD or not, as long as it displayed on the rcd 510, but even that is proving to be a tricky one. THe ideal scenario would be a database of ALL part nos, along with ...

Gps reciever

Hi there, my scirocco doesn't have satnav built in, but will there still be a gps receiver in the roof fin?

Thinking about fitting an aftermarket unit and wondered whether I'd be able to connect it to the receiver in the roof, if there is one??

So to get the Bluetooth working you need one of the units that begins IZO?

Is that right?

Thanks

Re: 3C8035730B/5N0035730D Bluetooth

THis whole topic is quite baffling tbh.

I have an 09 scirocco with red MFD

WHich module should I be looking for to allow it to work with an iphone 4s as there seems to be more than a few conflicting answers to this

Cheers

Roccopedia has a lot of info: http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/roccopedia/index.php?title=Change_rSAP_to_Bluetooth" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; That article is good but a little confusing! My car is an 09 but has the red MFD, all the units that are for sale on ebay say t...
