Never bothered updating this sorry...
Throttle body sensor needed reset, dealers done it and it was working fine. It did take them a while to work it out after several code clearings and test drives but it got sorted in the end. Hopefully this can help save everyone a bit of time and money!

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
Finally got round to changing the sidelight bulb from blue coated bulb which looked pure yellow , to white LEDs. What a mission to get the grill off. Drivers side was a right pain in the @ss :grumpy: . Looks much better now matches my bulbs bought from flux  .. Then gave her a quick wash .. An...

Re: EPC light and check engine warning
Was going to give it a go. Had to make some necessary journeys and the EML has popped up as well as EPC being on and off. Still haven't lost any oil. Gave my dealers a ring and they have it booked in after the new year :/. Best he could do. So she will be off the road over xmas when I need it most :...

Re: EPC light and check engine warning
Thanks for the quick reply. It hasn't used a drop of oil before or after the service. Checked it this morning and it was fine. Had a listen to under the bonnet and there is a sort of whirly rubbing sound when it is ticking over. I can hear this with the bonnet down. I haven't heard it doing this bef...

EPC light and check engine warning
Hello. I've had my TSI for 6 months now and no real problems at all with it. Last week though when I was driving in heavy traffic, the EPC light and CEL popped up. I saw the rpm started to fluctuate and drop to around 500rpm. I wasn't sure what it was, so I turned it off and on again to see if it wo...

Re: Smyffalis' Rising Blue TSI
Cheers mate! I love the rising blue colour but I like white more! Very rare to see them with 19s also! Overall I've got 29.8mpg (using an ipone app its calculated!) :'( though she gets a lot of right foot! On a trip to work via motorway it would get 43mpg in the summer and now its around 38 for the ...

Re: Candy white. Co Antrim northern Ireland
Lovely car mate! I'll keep an eye out for you if you're the southern end of antrim. I'm from Belfast myself and rarely up north! Lugano's look amazing!
I didn't realise that TT were doing TSI remaps now, the mate told me they weren't! I never thought of ringing them when I got the car.

Re: Smyffalis' Rising Blue TSI
It's around 52 bhp gain, unsure about torque but it pulls better. Got it when it was on offer. I keep meaning to switch to unmapped to remember how it is std. Pics aren't of it lowered, haven't had the chance to get some I will over the next week I hope and post them here! With springs, it handles g...

2.0 TSI MPG
Not bad! I've averaged 30.1mpg over 4600 miles
this includes a lot of commuting. I usually get 42mpg on my work run sticking to 60mph. The rest of the time I like to use sport mode or tip and make it fart

Fuel leak
Thanks for the replies. Got speaking to the dealer today, dropped it off this morning. Thought I would leave an update in case others have the same issue. It was the fuel filter which was causing the leak. They traced it back there quite quickly and have ordered the part to get fitted in the morning...

Fuel leak
Hello I have owned my TSI for 3 months now and I love every minute of it. The past few days my friends and I have smelt a strong smell of petrol off her after parking up. Today I noticed a small pool of fuel and a leak coming from the rear offside of the car. I have taken a picture of we're the leak...
