Re: P2015 inatke manifold flap solution?
Each flap has a plastic stopper which wears and then snaps this allowing the flaps to have too much movement. I would get it fixed as you don't want plastic bits going into your engine. Order the part off eBay and it will.be a third of the price.

Re: Need Intake manifold part no for 2.0 TSI
There is a sticker in your boot at the side where the spare wheel is, alternatively its on the v5 certificate also. Part nos quoted above are correct for your car. I had mine replaced a few weeks ago. Confirmed its CAWB from my v5. Just wondering how much yours cost to replace ? Was it from VW? Wou...

Re: Removing rear mud flaps
I'm sure you can take them off without having to remove the wheels as it's just a few screws. A small screwdriver or socket will do it. I'm after a front pair of you are looking to sell?

Re: P2015 inatke manifold flap solution?
Mine was running all good with the fault and then I noticed this on startup, like you all my flaps are moving, sesnor is giving a reading and the arm is moving forward/back. The only way to tell if the flaps are 100% is to take it off and check.

Re: P2015 inatke manifold flap solution?
It's not the map, it is a common fault and I am also suffering this issue. The only fix is a new intake manifold. When you start your car does feel as though it's idling roughly and thinks about cutting out?

MAF sensor
So ever since getting my DSG serviced from VW my cell light is firing with codes relating to the maf sensor. I have an itg induction which has been on the car before the issues have started. I've tried cleaning the MAF sensor but still can't shake the cel. I tries unplugging the sensor and driving b...

If you don't mind me asking what did you both pay to have them painted?
Did you require any additional bits to fit them, or did you just bond them using tiger seal?

Re: Stone chip protection paint
Depends on how you install them. Bit of 3M clear film behind them and jobs a good one. Never seen them eat right through the paint though. Anyway hope you get it sorted and it doesn't cost too much. Looks like it should be pretty easy to sort. Yeh, both sides getting stripped and re protected and p...

So VW called me back saying corrosion is 12 year and not paint. Do u reckon I have a case or just get painted elsewhere.

Re: Stone chip protection paint
Phoned VW this morning and advised to take to a dealer to see if warranty can be claimed as the car has no previous paint on those areas and has a 12 year warranty.
