Go ahead in my view. Not noisy. Previous car a BMW 135 and at least the equal of that with the added benefit of size.

Re: Dealer Fitted Covered Cup Holder

Yes i have but i'm not sure i'll be much help on the price. So I had my covered cup holder fitted prior to delivery. The parts were around 100 quid and fitting was about the same again. Paid about 350 or so Aussie dollars. I'm planning on doing the console cubby hole myself now that i have the parts.

Hey Con, this second series of shots with the matte bronze wheels are great. Look way less Subaru gold than when you first posted on Watercooled.

Huge improvement on the black too, you can nowcsee the detail in thw wheel design. Great choice.

Re: Some Noob questions regarding new purchase...

Cuprabob is right to get the best out of the dsg takes a little work and some adjustment. I recommend you get using the paddles asap and don't spend all your time in D.

My new roc R is my second DSG car. Prior to that all manuals, in between a bmw auto. I'm loving being back in a car with dsg

No, the lights are bi xenons. We only have four options DSG, dynaudio, RNS510 ans the pana roof.

We miss out on leather and the keyless entry system available in Europe and the UK

Re: New Scirocco R in Melbourne!

Just told at 5pm today it is ready. The car is from Geelong somneedto get down there. Either Friday pm or more likely Saturday. I think with my car arriving this week there will be 4 indiums on the road in Melbourne. I opted for Indium for a few reasons but one was that it wasn't black and wouldn't ...

Re: Creak/Squeak from rear

Hey Con, after all of that surely it has to be in the rear suspension somewhere. What else is back there, something to do with the fuel tank or system.

Someone herevwill have some ideas

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)

Thanks RW.

None the boats on your updated post tie in precisely with the info the dealer gave me but either Trianna or Tampa could be the ones.

I'll get the VIN tomorrow and have a go at tracking it using that info.

Cheers

I like the wheels personally i like the 7.1 which i think have a larger hub area than you 8.1's but I think I would be happy to have most of their designs on a car I owned

Sounds familiar - I am now hoping to take delivery at the end of this week, so a 5 month wait. Hope it proves to be really worth it :-) Good luck with your wait. Dont forget you can track the car on the boat once it is has been built and is headed our way. Be careful not to fall for inflated prices...
