Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
Yeh, i gathered from other posts here that R's were batched and that i guess my car missed a batch that would have seen a july delivery. The dealer hasn't explained the delay but I intend to press him on this tomorrow. I'm not sure about other versions of the Roc Ariving in Aus anyime soon. As it st...

Re: What's your Build Date? (Estimated or Confirmed)
Advised today my car now delayed until September. Obviously the lead times are long for oz bound cars with around 8 weeks transit from Germany but given i ordered the car on january 13 i'm a bit disapointed about a nine month wait. Seven months (plus the two months shiping) to process and build a ca...

Good pics-a little too lowered for my taste. CW with the dark wheels looks brilliant though

Re: Scirocco R Invasion Down Under - Build Thread
You say this is a start -where are you heading with this "project?"
Also how are you finding the KW DCC? I was going to ask compared to stock but i'm thinking that you might not have had the stock set up on long enough to compare.

Re: Boosting
Ozr,
Sorry poor typing on my last post. One of the local tuners is known as Viezu, not Ziezu. Not recommending anyone just these are the names that have come up so far on this subject.

Re: Boosting
Hi Trix, You're right mostly with respect to the R output. R models here are slightly detuned to those in the UK. 250bhp/188kw here vs 265bhp/195kw in the UK and Europe. Reason given by VW is operating temperature. The golf r is similiarly de-tuned. Ozr - if you visited an oz forum - like vw waterco...

Is there a face lift due. When might that come through into productiom cars?Kev wrote: It'll be interesting to see what a facelift brings but I think it'll be fairly minimal.

Re: How do you rate the sciroccos **INTERIOR** design?
Just think it is a bit bland compared to the exterior. The R version not special enough and would of thought at least in R spec the car could have carried an extra couple of $k if the interior was a little less VW generic

Re: ANOTHER AU ROC
Just wish VW would hurry up and build mine.
I've had second thoughts of stiking with the Indium because of the long delivery lead time. Will be happier when I get a firm build date

Fantastic......great colour choice. I think Indium wil be quite rare.
I'll be waiting for my car for about another 5 months. Ordered on Jan 13 and due about june 30 into the country and to me on about July 15.
Still to see one here on the road.

That I'm still waiting for it to be built and then there is the 12 week wait for the ship to arrive.
That the cup holders and tray in front of the gears are open. Have arranged to get that fixed prior to delivery thanks to the info found here.

Re: Reflex silver Scirocco R in Sydney
Mac135, Dynaudio is worth every penny - or cent here in Oz !! The sound quality is superb. Is the RNS510 standard in the R over here ?? Different specs for different countries. All in all I love driving the Roc over here - mine is 2 years old next month and has only done 13k kms - due to sitting in...

Re: Reflex silver Scirocco R in Sydney
I gather from the local VW watercooled forum that quite a few guys will get their cars by the end of Feb so you should see some in Sydney by April. Must love your Roc to have put it on a boat to Perth. Presume it is the only one in captivity until some R's arrive. BTW How does the Dynaudio perform? ...
