Looking at getting a 140 Scirocco TDI blumotion. Does anyone have any real life mpg figure they can give me? Variety of different journeys would help a lot.

Ok thats good, don't want to be listening to a tractor engine all the time. If i was to get a diesel it would be the Roc I would be coming from an Ibiza Cupra TSI. The mpg is a massive hit with me as I need to be spending less than £300 a month on fuel as thats what I am currently doing at the momen...

That is what i am thinking. I really could do with a diesel car as my current pertol car is costing so much in fuel.

I hear the tdi engine is very good and quite quiet?

Just wondering who would buy a tdi Roc with over 60k on the clock.. Also how many miles would you expect to get out of the tdi engines

Cheers for the replys, im thinking the 170 seems the best option then. Thats such an improvement to what i am getting at the momet, i get 32mpg driving carefully on a 12 mile trip, and about 37mpg on a 40 mile trip.. And the fact i am doing about 300 miles a week i think i diesel seems to be the way...

I dont really mind which one tbh, my current car has 180 so the 170 would be closer. But i would still get a 140.
